Particularly, decreased agricultural production and disrupted supply chains from climate changeare triggering food crises, affecting the impoverished significantly. These environmental factors are resulting in the loss of many lives every year.

To address these serious issues, COP29 has set specific goals to mitigate the impacts of climate change.These goals include significant reductions in greenhouse gas emissions, the expansion of renewable energy adoption, and increased support for regions and communities vulnerable to climate change. Achieving these goals requires international cooperation and innovative efforts Across countries and industries.

Reducing food waste is crucial for directing CO2 emissions and reducing overall carbon dioxideemissions. This is an urgent matter that requires immediate attention. Processing food wasterequires significant energy and greenhouse gases are emitted during this process, making waste reduction a critical measure. Data indicates that spoilage and mold during transportation and storage are essential issues in the food supply chain.
